Overview
If you possess a valid Single Entry Visa, either for tourism or business purposes, and intend to exceed the initial 60-day period of stay in Indonesia, you will need to extend your visa. The process for extending a Single Entry Visa requires the involvement of your sponsor, who must submit the extension application on your behalf.
Visa Validity and Extensions
The Single Entry Visa is initially valid for 60 days upon arrival in Indonesia. It can be extended twice, with each extension granting an additional 60 days. Hence, the maximum duration you can stay in Indonesia with a Single Entry Visa, after two extensions, is 180 days.

Common Questions
Where do I go for the biometric session?
The location depends on your place of residence in Indonesia, as each immigration office covers different areas.
How long before the process should I provide my passport to M Visa Bali?
It is advisable to submit your passport two weeks prior to the expiration of your visa to account for any potential delays, especially during public holidays.
Why were visa extensions only 30 days before 2022?
Before 2022, extensions were only granted for 30 days. This was changed to 60-day increments in order to reduce the frequency of visits to immigration offices. Additionally, government fees increased from 500,000 IDR to 1,500,000 IDR.
Will someone assist me at the immigration office?
Yes, a representative from us will meet you at the immigration office to assist with the biometric session.
